Did We Say 5,000 Barrels per Day?

We meant 50,000.  That’s the lower end of the estimate coming from disinterested academic analysts, now that they’ve seen the video released by BP.  Silly us, we wanted to believe all that ‘Beyond Petroleum’ stuff. So at twenty-five days and counting, that would be 1.25 million barrels, or about five times the volume of the Exxon Valdez spill. Guess this is serious. All the more reason to remember disasters – human and natural.
